Where are you from? |
|
| |
I grew up in Connecticut, a small state
in the northeastern United States, tucked between Boston
and New York. Among other things, Connecticut is home
to Yale University and, maybe more importantly, the world's
first hamburger. Although I've been roaming from place
to place for over 10 years, I'll always consider Connecticut
my home. |

How long have you been in Taiwan? |
|
| |
I've been in Taiwan since September 2002.
It just keeps getting better the longer I stay here! |

Describe your family. |
|
| |
I have one father, one mother, an older
brother, a younger sister and a cat. Everyone still lives
in Connecticut except my brother, Dave. He's running a
restaurant in Portland, Oregon. My sister, Laura, is married
and is busy raising my nieces and nephew. I miss them
so much! They're growing like weeds! |

 |
| |
What do you do in your leisure time? |
|
| |
In my free time I like to read books,
ride my bike, or play a song on the guitar. Also, any
chance I get, I like to be around water. Whether it's
a lake, river or ocean—I like to be in it, on it, under
it, or just plain near it! |

| |
If you were stranded on an island, what
would you want to have with you: |
|
| |
If I'm ever stranded on an island, I'd
like to have a few photo albums, a guitar, a subscription
to National Geographic, and the biggest Swiss
Army knife money can buy. Oh, and get me the telephone
number of a pizza restaurant that delivers! A friend?
Definitely MacGyver! That guy is so cool!

What's your favorite quote? |
|
| |
There's a Latin phrase made famous by
the movie Dead Poets Society that often stirs
my thoughts: Carpe diem, or "Seize the day!" |
