Where are you from? |
|
| |
I come from a small country town in Washington
State. My home is located on the Olympic Peninsula. I
live about 15 minutes from the beach and about 30 minutes
from the Olympic National Rain Forest. You can see deer,
bears, cougars and bald eagles in this beautiful, natural
environment. |

How long have you been in Taiwan? |
|
| |
I've been in Taiwan since 1986 — over 20 years! Wow! I'm suddenly feeling soooooo
old! |

Describe your family. |
|
| |
My parents are retired now, so they have
more time to do what they love: work in their garden,
travel, and visit their kids and grandkids. My two older
sisters are both married and have children, and they all
live in Washington State. |

What do you do in your leisure time? |
|
| |
When I'm not teaching English, I like
to relax with a good book, or go out for coffee and a
good movie with my close friends. Playing with my three
cats—Cali, Zack and Peng Peng—also brings me great joy!
And when I have more time, I like to go to places like
Hualien, Ilan or Kenting. |

If you were stranded on an island, what
would you want to have with you: |
|
| |
Books: The Bible. I never get tired of
reading it! Besides, it gives very detailed information
about how to build a boat! :-)
People: My closest friends and my family
Pets: My cats: Cali, Zack and Peng Peng.
